Description

Located in Saint-Eustache, the Curé-Paquin Elementary School stands out for its innovative approach to sustainable development. Certified as a "Zero Carbon Building," it serves as a model of energy efficiency thanks to solutions such as solar panels, geothermal energy, and ecological materials. Its modern and luminous architecture fosters active and creative learning, while providing a healthy and comfortable environment for students and staff.

The walls, covered with foam liner, perfectly mimic the bark of trees, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Graphic representations of trees, created using Graphic Concrete®, adorn the hallways, reminding students of the importance of biodiversity. These decorative elements, inspired by nature, contribute to creating a stimulating learning environment conducive to sparking curiosity.

The numbering of the exits, achieved through imprints in the wooden formwork, offers an original and sustainable solution that integrates perfectly with the overall aesthetic of the building.
